3 Night 4 Day Experience Basecamp

Experience all Borealis Basecamp has to offer in one of our most inclusive packages to date!

Overview

Experience all that Borealis Basecamp has to offer in this package. Includes a three night stay at Borealis Basecamp in your own private igloo, roundtrip transportation to and from Fairbanks, a one hour long dogsledding tour, and a one hour long snowmachining tour.

Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrive into Fairbanks and transfer from the airport by hotel shuttle at 2:30PM, or be picked up at your Fairbanks area hotel.

On arrival at Borealis Basecamp you will be greeted by the incredible staff and ushered to your Arctic Igloo for an evening of Aurora Viewing.  Should time permit, grab dinner in Latitude 65, our on site restaurant.  

Evening wake up call for Aurora included in all stays. 

DAY 2 

Breakfast is included at Borealis Basecamp. 

Today relax and enjoy all the camp has to offer. Included today is your ATV or Snowmachining tour, depending on weather. Winter gear is provided at the front desk, and our tour guides will provide you with an introductory lesson on how to safely use your ATV or Snowmachine.

Optional Upgrade: White Mountains Snowmachine Tour

Contact a reservationist to upgrade today’s tour to a White Mountains Snowmachine Experience, and experience the Alaskan backcountry like never before. Ride snowmachines with your highly experienced guide to Wickersham Dome and stop for a hot lunch.

Lunch is available for purchase at Latitude 65 between 11:30AM and 2:00PM.  

After lunch, grab snow shoes or fat tire bikes from our Guide Staff and take off on an adventure through maintained trails throughout the property.  Snowshoes and fat tire bikes are available for check out from the front desk free of charge during your entire stay.

Dinner is available for purchase at Latitude 65 between 5:30PM and 8:00PM.  

Evening at your leisure to enjoy the Aurora from your cozy igloo.  Aurora wake up call included in each stay. 

DAY 3

Today you have your dogsledding or karting tour. Meet real Alaskan racing sled dogs and learn about life on the trail as you swing through the snowy forest.

After lunch, grab snow shoes or fat tire bikes from our Guide Staff and take off on an adventure through maintained trails throughout the property.  Snowshoes and fat tire bikes are available for check out from the front desk free of charge during your entire stay.

DAY 4

Check out is at 12:00pm, and a Borealis Basecamp shuttle will take you back to Fairbanks. We can drop you off at any major Fairbanks hotel or the airport.

Custom private transfer available for $94 for 1-2 people, an additional $35 per person for 3+ person parties.
