Simply Sumptuous

Guests at Borealis Basecamp dine in a craftsman-built yurt with plenty of space to look out upon nearby Wickersham Dome and the White Mountains. Linger with a cup of coffee or glass of wine, savor each meal, and enjoy a sense of home away from home. The yurt is “home base” for guests, providing a 24-hour space to visit, play board games, or read a good book.

Start each morning with fresh juice, coffee, and tea before tucking into a filling continental breakfast consisting of meats, cheeses, local breads, hot and cold cereals, and fruit. Guests can be sure Borealis Basecamp staff will prepare plenty of delicious fuel for a day of adventures.* This complimentary breakfast is served between 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Nothing warms the soul and stomach like a bowl of hot soup, especially after cold-weather activities. Borealis Basecamp guests may choose from four different daily soup options served in a bread bowl and paired with a hearty caesar salad.* Select from vegetable, reindeer sausage, chicken noodle, or french onion soups.
Lunch is served between 12-1:30 p.m., $25/pp.

Dinner at Borealis Basecamp is both a relaxing time and a prelude to a night of aurora-viewing. Guests dine on favorites like king crab, baby-back ribs, portobello mushrooms, or pasta. The menu strives to emphasize locally-sourced ingredients, and the atmosphere is a tranquil retreat from an otherwise busy day.*
Dinner is served between 6-7:30 p.m., $30-$46/pp, depending upon menu selection.
