Reservations for the 2026 Autumn season are now available! Autumn package bookings are available from August 21, 2026 through November 14, 2026.
Experience the wonder of fall colors and the northern lights
Late summer and fall are a great time to get some aurora viewing in as part of your epic Alaska vacation.
We handle every detail of your Borealis Basecamp adventure, from seamless transportation to curated activities. Simply unwind in your private sky view igloo or cube and immerse yourself in the wonder of the aurora.
Autumn is a hidden treasure here. Before the snow falls, the Alaska boreal forest and tundra turn vibrant gold and true darkness returns, allowing you to view the northern lights in Fairbanks earlier in the season. Enjoy the perfect travel “sweet spot”: milder weather and the thrill of Alaska northern lights. Explore the colorful ridgeline on a guided ATV tour by day, then watch the sky dance from the comfort of your bed.

Our packages are slightly different to accommodate various experiences. All of our Adventure packages include the more high-octane, adventure excursions that include a snowmobile.
Our Leisure packages offer a little slower experiences like the Aurora Portrait Photography session as well as plent of down time to enjoy the property’s saunas.
